  Ben Saunders At just 25 years old, Ben became the Youngest Person in the World to walk to the North Pole totally unsupported in April 2003.He had attempted the same journey when he was only 23, but the worst conditions in 17 years had finally driven him back just days away from his target. Ben raised over £10,000 for The Orchid Cancer Appeal and brought vital awareness for male cancer. Born in Plymouth, Devon. At 19 he went on a 4 month walking and climbing expedition to the Nepalese Himalayas and went on to work as an instructor at the John Ridgeway Adventure School in Scotland, often taking under privileged children from urban environments on courses. His February 2004 expedition was a 1,240 mile journey across the Arctic Ocean solo and unsupported. Ben is an excellent speaker and a popular role model with school children.
