CULVER GREENIDGE Having presented on Kiss TV for over a year, Culver has served an extensive apprenticeship. He has built up excellent experience researching, producing and presenting a weekly magazine programme looking at everything from extreme sports to cultural events, interviewing and reviewing entertainment. Culver made his television debut on MTV and was a link presenter for the launch of MTV in Beirut, live on stage. Currently, Culver reviews new releases on Channel Five’s early morning edition of the Pepsi Chart Show and is the presenter/producer of The Dating Channel. Culver has lent his considerable talents and charm to front many good causes. He was picked by BBC Radio 5 Live to talk about racism in the fashion industry and was asked back to head a debate on smoking. Following this he became the spokesman on radio and television for the 'Smoking out of Fashion' Campaign. He was one of the first people to be invited to take part in the legendary 'War Child' event and to model in Oxfam's celebrity fashion show at the Royal Albert Hall. Intelligent and inquisitive, he has written articles for 'Pride' magazine, 'The Voice' newspaper and compiled a history of R&B for MCA. He was asked by NUS Magazine to write about his travelling experiences as a young, black man hitching across Europe. This also described the six months he spent camped in a tent, by a river in Ardeche teaching children to canoe, drama and English. Although he was brought up in England, Culver's parents are from South America and he was lucky enough to travel to a lot of exotic locations during his childhood which is probably why he loves exploring other cultures so much. Culver is extremely fit and was seriously considering a career as a professional athlete while at college. He has an in-depth knowledge of health, diet and fitness. An accomplished dancer who is one of the only British dancers to have ever performed classical and contemporary ballet with the World Famous 'Dance Theatre of Harlem' company. Culver has a real love and enthusiasm for all extreme sports and often writes and presents features on all of them. Culver is a lively compere for all live events always endearing himself to absolutely everybody. A warm personality, who possesses a rare combination of good humour and good looks.
