JAKE MEYER, broke Bear Grylls’ Everest record at just 21 years of age and went on to become the youngest man in the world to climb the seven summits. Planning this mission at just 14 years old, Jake is all about focusing on your dreams and making them happen. He has just got his degree in Environmental Science and is becoming one of our most popular speakers. Next year he will be attempting to climb all 49 of Europe’s highest peaks in a record time and in the greenest possible way. Jake will be giving out Gold Awards at St James’ Palace in October as an Ambassador for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
CATHERINE CAPON, our glamorous Scientist! Catherine has just got her degree in Biology from Imperial College, London. She specialises in zoology and is animal crazy, especially bats!
IAN MAXWELL STARTS FILMING ‘MAX’S BIG TRACKS’
Ian has started filming at exotic locations around the world for this new Animal Planet series which will be out in 2008. His survival and tracking school ‘Shadow Hawk’ in Cornwall continues to flourish and before he left he taught a course in survival to Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boreman to prepare them for their next motorcycle adventure.

Our very own SAS Action hero, Ken Hames is getting married in December-Congratulations Ken! The TV Expedition leader filmed the third series of the highly acclaimed BBC TV series ‘Beyond Boundaries’ this year and this should be broadcast in January 2008. Ken created this amazing TV series when he was climbing with a friend who was blind.
